Model built by John Formon. She Devil was one of the original A/C assigned to the 491st.  The Formon crew (John's Dad) was assigned to this ship for the March 23 supply drop mission.  She devil was hit with cannon fire and lost all hydraulics.  The crew limped back across the channel and landed at RAF Manston with no brakes or flaps. They overshot the end of the runway and “bent” the ship. It was eventually written off and didn’t come home.
